We do not disclose confidential information about our clients to anyone except as requested by our clients or as required by law. We restrict access to personal information concerning you, except to our employees who need such information in order to provide services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with our professional standards.

 

Communication

We may communicate by facsimile transmission, our web portal or send electronic mail over the internet. Such communications may include confidential information. While we will use our best efforts to keep such communications secure in accordance with our obligation under applicable laws and professional standards, we have no control over the unauthorized interception of these communications once they have been transmitted.

To enhance our services, we use a web portal in a protected online environment to securely exchange sensitive documents with our clients. All clients are set up with their individual and business portal accounts and are encouraged to send confidential data through this platform. While our web portal performs routine backups of your files, we strongly recommend that you also maintain your own backup files.

 

Text Messages Consent (Services Only)

If you provide your phone number, we may use it to send text messages related to our services (e.g., appointment coordination, document requests and account notifications). We do not sell your phone number, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.

Email is our preferred method of communication for a response usually within 24 business hours. Communicating via text message or through our social media platforms (e.g. sending tax documents or communicating other important information, etc.) does not allow us to provide the support you deserve, so we ask that you limit your electronic communication to email and our secure client portal for document exchange.
